We had purchased another home, and we did not want to update and try to sell our old home. We received two offers to buy our house by mail and one phone offer from a company out of the Dallas metroplex. When we were ready to sell, we contacted all three companies to discuss price and purchase details. We were very put off by the Dallas company. They were way too pushy and made an offer without even looking at our house. We thought they might even be a scam. Both of the local companies asked to tour our house. One of the companies made an offer on the spot. TruTex toured, took photos, and asked what we were willing to sell the house for. They said they would contact us later with an offer.
